Twenty years ago I said to myself: “if I’m to have a child, I need to stop playing in bars at night." So I diversified, finding lots of fulfilling ways to do my music. Most of the work I do these days is for private organizations, often during the day. What I present is a group participation experience for people of all ages.
- I go into hospitals, senior citizens facilities, churches, nursing homes, special education schools, private and public pre-schools and elementary schools.
- I am known in NH mostly for my work with children.
- I do a lot with the American Cancer Society, donating time with the "We Can Weekend," and the "Love Lights a Tree" fund raiser.
- I do workshops helping teachers bring music into their classrooms.
- My great love is doing drumming/sound circles.
- I built an octogon building behind my house so people could gather. In the summer, I host the “Summer Circle” every Monday nite. We continue now every other Monday nite. We drum, sing, chant, laugh, cry, share, and heal. I also go to peoples’ homes and host circles there. I give workshops on "You Are the Music,” which is about opening to the sound within us. And I offer Music-and-Imagery Healing sessions.
