Showroom, by Appointment

In conjunction with my home and workshop, I have built a showroom to display my work. Since it is only open when I am home, I ask that visitors call in advance to make an appointment. The number is (603) 526-6152. Weekends, evenings and holidays are fine.

The location is New London, NH, which is in the Western/Central part of the state. Lake Sunapee is the most distinctive feature if you look at the map, and we are about half way between Concord and White River Junction, right off the Interstate 89. It is both rural and accessible, a great combination.

By coming, you can not only see a wide variety of finished work,.... I would be glad to show you my workshop, examples of work in various stages of completion, and our home and gardens. New London is a very inviting vacation and retirement community, so there are lots of good restaurants and accomodations, including a Bed and Breakfast called Maple Hill Farm that is right next door to our home. Check out their web page. Or alternatively, New London Inn is a marvelous place, completely renovated in 2006 by the new owners. The dining room is completely lit by 17 of my wall sconces, the food is fantastic, the service it tip-top. If you come to visit my showroom, you might want to either stay at New London Inn, or have a meal.

  • 	Wow!!! Now doesn't that look like a great place to watch me make lampshades....... For a week each summer, I work under that brown awning. The setting is spectacular, and the food is even better. The Balsam's Grand Resort Hotel is in far Northern New Hampshire, and worth the effort and expense to treat yourself to a wonderful adventure.

  • Open Studio Weekend (sponsored by the League of NH Craftsmen), right in my home and workshop, New London, NH. My second year doing this, and the 3rd year the League has offered this great opportunity to visit craftspeople in their natural environment. November 7-9 (unconfirmed)
